Saying Goodbye to Microdermabrasion Treatments For Bright Skin

It’s time to contest another dermatological procedure with the power of natural products!

Microdermabrasion sounds like a great idea if you have congested and greasy skin, but did you know there’s a better way to keep your skin looking bright, healthy and smooth without having to re-do brightening treatments every few weeks?

Tons of dermatological procedures are becoming popular amongst those looking to get brighter, perkier and beautiful skin. In fact, you can even find some of these procedures offered at a local salon!

But are they really worth investing in? Beauty isn’t just skin deep, and that applies to skin care, too. Sure, these dermatological procedures give you instant results, but what if there was a way to encapsulate those instant results and make them stay for much, much longer without needing a re-do?

Microdermabrasion: What You Need To Know

This is another popular treatment that’s making waves amongst beauty conscious people. The process aims to exfoliate the skin using a powerful wand that propels crystals and distilled fluid to slough away dead cells and dislodge congestion from pores.

Microdermabrasion is a skin-exfoliating treatment that is making wave in the beauty word. This resurfacing method is one of the least invasive resurfacing methods out of the lot. Since this method only removes the upper layer, it works effectively to improve conditions on the surface of the skin such as premature aging, fine lines, acne, acne spots, and superficial scarring.

What does Microdermabrasion Involve?

Microdermabrasion rejuvenates your skin by employing a combination of crystals, vacuum suction, and a fine abrasive tip. It doesn’t involve the use of any anesthetics or needles. The vacuum speed and pressure are adjusted according to the tolerance and sensitivity of your skin. This procedure feels like a cat licking your skin with its rough, but somewhat gentle-textured tongue.

How does Microdermabrasion Work?

Microdermabrasion works by removing the upper layers of your skin known as the stratum corneum. It is very similar to the process of brushing your teeth as it helps get rid of the ‘plaque’ or debris present on the topmost layer of your skin. Since it takes the skin around 30 days to regenerate, you will have to get the microdermabrasion process every two to four weeks to see continuous improvement. Also, you will have to employ other treatments such as sunscreen and other skincare creams along with it.

A typical microdermabrasion session lasts between 5 to 60 minutes, with minimal to no recovery time required. It is also safe to apply makeup and natural, non-irritating creams right after your microdermabrasion procedure.

Note: The microdermabrasion procedure shouldn’t be confused with dermabrasion, an invasive surgical procedure performed by plastic surgeons and dermatologists under anesthesia. Dermabrasion is typically performed to get rid of deep scars such as acne scars.

Microdermabrasion Cost

A single session of microdermabrasion can cost anywhere between $100 and $250 per session. While the costs have considerably decreased over the past few year, it is still pretty expensive to get this procedure, especially if you need multiple sessions.

Why Choose Vitamin C Over Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion treatment needs to be done every 2-3 weeks in order to maintain the glowing, bright and smooth complexion you’ve been chasing. And here’s another thing; you’ll be paying anywhere between $100 and $250 per session, and there’s a chance you’ll be walking out with red and raw skin – which we hope doesn’t last for over 24 hours!

Also, microdermabrasion doesn’t serve a wide variety of purpose; it is mostly appropriate for deep scars such as acne scars. Other than that, it can help reduce a dull look and make your skin appear brighter.

Vitamin C is a natural ingredient that has zero side effects. While microdermabrasion is a very safe procedure, it can have certain minor side effects such as redness, bruising, skin tightness and sensitivity.

But if you’re looking for something that actually delivers long term effects in a safe and reliable way, check out Vitamin C!

Hello, Bright Skin!

What does Vitamin C do for your skin that microdermabrasion cannot? Well, plenty!

It Brightens – And For Good!

Vitamin C anti-aging serum helps to reverse the damage caused by UV rays and free radicals in the environment. These harmful factors can actually cause your skin to become dull and lose luster.

Helps Exfoliate the Skin In a Safe Way

The Vitamin C benefits for skin aren’t restricted to just brightening. In fact, studies have shown that it helps to boost collagen production, which helps your skin to regenerate in a healthier way. Gradually, you’re left with fresher and more youthful looking skin.

It Cleanses Your Skin

For adults who struggle with oily skin and acne, an acne Vitamin C serum can help to clear skin from within by fighting bacteria, controlling sebum production and shrinking pores to reduce the onset of these problems!

It’s Safe to Use

Whether you’re in your 20’s or 50’s, Vitamin C is safe to use. It helps to keep skin healthy and slows down premature ageing by reducing wrinkles, dark spots and other such signs. It also helps to ease inflammation and is easy on delicate skin areas.

Grace,

Many of my clients have tried Microdermabrasion in the past without any success. The best natural skincare product that seems to work for them is the Vitamin C Serum from ML Delicate Beauty (https://bit.ly/2knRQ93).
Let me know if it works well for you too.

I just ordered some vitamin C serum and I can’t wait for it to get here and to try it out. I have been struggling with my skin for years and I had tried microdermabrasion and it really didn’t help at all. Even though I forked over so much money.
